The Power of your subconscious mind | Joseph Murphy | 7 Best ideas | Review

The power of the subconscious mind is a true game changer for an in-depth understanding of a universe that we cannot physically see.

I made a summary of the best parts of the book for me.  Your understanding and summary might be different.  At the time of writing the book, this was my level of awareness.

Let me know if you found any other gems and information from this powerful book.

7 best ideas from the book, The power of your subconscious mind, by Joseph Murphy.

1.     Our mind is garden.

Think about your mind as a garden.  You are the gardener and planting seeds (of thoughts) in your subconscious mind all day long.   These seeds depend your daily conscious thinking.

As we sow in our subconscious mind, so will we reap in our body and environment.

The bible text (Galatians 6:7): We reap what we sow, is true in every aspect of our lives.

2.     Difference between the conscious and subconscious mind.

Your conscious mind is the reasoning mind.  Acting on free will.

Your subconscious accepts what is impressed upon it and what your consciously believe.

The subconscious mind is subjective and cannot distinguish between right or wrong, good or bad and negative or positive.  It merely accepts what it gets feed.

Be very about every thought and word.  We are the captain of our ship and can choose the setting of our sails.

3.     You can create miracles in your life.

Your subconscious mind works according to your belief system.  The law of your subconscious mind is the law of belief.

All that we experience and the conditions we live in, are the reactions of your subconscious mind to your thoughts.

Consciously fill your thoughts with good health and prosperity.

Change your thoughts to change your life.

Every evening just before sleep, affirm to your subconscious mind the person you want to be and the goals and specific things you want to accomplish.

To affirm is to state that is so.  By repeating affirmations your consciously feed information into your subconscious mind.  The subconscious will react in such a way to open the universe to your desires.

In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson: “Man is what he thinks all day long”

The basis of all healing from the Bible verse: Psalm 139:14 “Marvellous are thy works, and my soul knoweth right well.

4.     We are blocking our own prosperity.

All frustrations are due to unfilled desires.

When we consistently dwell on obstacles and difficulties our subconscious merely respond to our consciousness.

Keep your consciousness busy with only the best for you. Expect good health and success in your life.

Marcus Aurelius: “A man’s life is what his thoughts make of it.

5.     Healing power of the subconscious mind.

Mark: 11:24 – “Therefor I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer,  believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Faith is a way of thinking.  It’s an attitude of the mind.  As a man think so he is.

When the sick came to Jesus to be healed, they were healed by faith and the understanding of their subconscious mind.

The process of healing is faith. The healing power lies in your subconscious mind.

The doctor dressed the wound, but God heals the wound.

6.     Create wealth with your subconscious mind.

Affirm daily, before you go to sleep and as you wake up, the following:

-       I am wealthy

-       I am successful

-       By and by night I am prospered in all my ways.

-       Money flows into my live I abundance

-       I do good with money

Wealth is a subconscious state.  Build and thinking into your mentality of wealth.

The feeling of wealth produces wealth.

Evaluate how to feel about money.  What is your limiting beliefs about money?

Do you think money is filthy or evil? We cannot attract what we criticize.

Something to stop immediately: Stop trying to get something for nothing. You must give to receive.  We must sow to reap.

7.     Three steps to success:

A: Find the thing you love to do, and then start doing that.

B: Specialize in a specific niche and be the best in it.

C: Make sure the success is not aimed at yourself only.  I must beneficial to humanity.
