Below are a few points of interest taken from the interview:

Any morning rituals that you do?

When he wakes up, it’s very important for him to have a glass of water with some lemon in. The water with lemon in flushes your body from toxins. After the water he has some coffee, only black without sugar.

He makes his bed. This is a habit he formed since when he was young. His parents encouraged this habit.  Making your bed helps you remain structured in your day and in your life.

Next, he starts with showing gratitude. A short 5-10-minute meditation session and noting down 5 things he is grateful for.He only workouts in the morning and solely thinks about his workout when his at the gym. While working out, he listens to motivational speaking videos.

If the morning rituals aren’t followed, he may start to feel that his day is chaotic, and he has no control over what happened during the day. He has no control over how he reacts to what happens during the day. He plans the next day, the evening before.

How do you do your affirmations, in the morning or evenings, or both?

He mostly does his affirmations in the morning. He advised of a YouTube channel dedicated to affirmations: I Am Affirmations. When feeling emotional he reflects to his affirmations,  which assist him feel more self-confident.   It’s very important to do affirmations consistently.

If a habit is done on a continuous basis, you will have continuous results. Affirmations become a lifestyle. For affirmations to become a reality, your affirmations need to consist out of 3 legs. An affirmation should be: positive, clear visualization of said affirmation and have the correct corresponding emotion with that said affirmation.

We need to consciously decide what we put in our conscious mind. Be consciously aware of your surroundings and who you surround yourself with. You are the sum of the 5 people you spend most of your time with. You become your environment.
